Job summary

BCXP is seeking a Junior BI Developer to support the design, development, testing and maintenance of BI reports and dashboards. You will work under guidance, gathering requirements and preparing data for analysis.

The role focuses on reliable operational reporting, data quality, and continuous improvement while adhering to data, security and development standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analysis, SQL or dashboard development.
• Or 5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analysis, SQL or dashboard development.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering, documenting and clarifying reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Develop and maintain standard reports, dashboards and visualizations using approved BI tools and templates.
• Extract, transform, clean and organize data from approved sources for reporting and analysis.
• Perform data checks, reconcile report outputs and elevate material data quality or definition issues.
• Execute unit and functional tests, record evidence and correct basic report or dashboard defects.
• Provide first-line support for assigned BI solutions, investigate incidents and refer complex issues to senior team members.
• Maintain report specifications, data definitions, test records, user guidance and change documentation.
• Build technical capability in BI development, data modelling, SQL and visualization through coaching, training and practical delivery.

The Junior BI Developer supports the design, development, testing and maintenance of business intelligence reports, dashboards and data solutions. Minimum Qualifications

Experience
