Trainee Branch Manager – Krugersdorp (3625)

We are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to oversee and support branch management in achieving excellent sales performance within a Lewis store. The ideal candidate will take ownership of all branch sales activities and contribute to leading a profitable and sustainable business unit that supports the overall success of the organisation.

Ideal candidates will have solid bedding sales experience and store operations exposure, including managing profit and growth targets within the retail environment. The role is responsible for communicating and driving daily branch operations in alignment with company goals, as well as managing people‑related matters, customer service, sales, stock, and credit within the branch.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, motivate, develop, and empower branch employees to build a stable, high‑performing team.
• Drive sales targets and manage operational efficiencies to maintain a healthy and profitable business.
• Ensure excellent customer service through active involvement in customer interactions.
• Maintain and improve customer service, sales performance, stock efficiencies, and manage credit‑related business risk.
• Minimise stock loss through compliance with security, stock, and cash handling procedures.
• Guide, manage, and verify branch operations to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory legislation.
• Manage people‑related activities including training, mentoring, coaching, and staff management.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Business‑related tertiary qualification (advantageous).
• Minimum of 3 years Retail Sales and/or Management experience, preferably within bedding retail.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Proven management ability to co‑manage, lead, motivate, develop, and empower branch staff.
• Must reside in Krugersdorp or the West Rand area.
