Job summary

wine.co.za is seeking part-time, fixed-term weekend staff to join our Tasting Room team for the season in a scenic wine estate escape in the Western Cape. You will present wine tastings, pair cheese boards, drive wine sales, assist with stock and conduct eco and cellar tours.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Afrikaans, with a passion for wine, excellent people skills, high service levels, and the ability to work in a small, team environment.

Requirements:

• Passion for wine
• Excellent people skills
• High levels of service & hospitality will be required
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English & Afrikaans
• Presentable & well groomed
• Work in small team environment - must be a Team player
• Must have Valid Driver's license
• Own transport
• Reside in Strand, Somerset West, Gordon's Bay, Macassar, Kuilsriver or Stellenbosch area.

Duties:

• Present wine tasting
• Cheese board pairings
• Wine Sales
• Assist with stocks
• Conduct Eco tours & Cellar tours

Fixed term: From Sept/Oct 2026 to April 2027 (weekdays & weekend)

Weekend staff: working only on Saturdays / Sundays

Part-time position: Available immediately, (5 shifts a week, with 2 off days)
