Job summary

Wine.co.za is seeking a vibrant Wine Tasting & Bistro Associate to welcome cellar door visitors, deliver tastings, and drive exceptional customer service in a bustling hospitality setting.

You will clean and reset tasting areas, handle POS transactions, and work weekends and public holidays as required, with a passion for wine and a flair for multitasking. Knowledge of wine is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is helpful.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or retail sales is advantageous.
• Strong customer focus and ability to drive sales.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced wine tasting setting.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Present wine tastings and cellar tours to visitors.
• Maintain cleanliness of tasting areas and surfaces.
• Wipe tables, reset dining spaces, and ensure spittoons are available.
• Operate the POS system and assist customers with purchases.

Job description

Present wine tastings & cellar tours to all cellar door visitors

Wine tasting & Bistro

• Make sure all surfaces are cleaned (including outside of wine tasting areas)
• Wipe outside tables and tables inside
• All spittoons need to be clean and put on each table in tasting room
• Move furniture to the correct places
• Clean tables of glasses and platters
