Job summary

IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, seeks a skilled Talent Management professional to drive the companys talent strategy and succession planning in the Limpopo project. You will coordinate development programmes and collaborate with line managers and external providers to implement development actions.

The role focuses on identifying high-potential staff, enabling leadership development and ensuring governance and reporting across talent initiatives within a mining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in HR Development, Talent Management, Learning & Development or Organisational Development.
• Experience coordinating Talent management and Succession planning programmes.
• Experience with HRIS and LMS is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of the Company's Talent Management Strategy and Framework.
• Support talent identification, assessment and development of identified potential employees.
• Coordinate and maintain succession planning for critical positions and identified successors.
• Facilitate talent reviews and support managers with employee development planning.
• Coordinate leadership development, mentoring, coaching and employee development programmes.
• Monitor and track IDPs and employee development progress.
• Maintain talent and succession management records and databases.
• Prepare talent management reports, dashboards and presentations for management.
• Monitor programme participation, effectiveness and outcomes and propose improvements.
• Coordinate with line managers, employees, training providers and stakeholders on talent development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, EE, skills development and governance requirements.
