Job summary

Performability seeks a Tactical Driver in Johannesburg to support executive mobility and security operations. Responsibilities include ensuring the principal's safety, escorting the principal to locations, and traveling with the principal as required.

Vigilance and prompt communications are essential, with daily vehicle inspections, odometer logging, and reporting of maintenance or incidents. Adherence to SOPs and traffic regulations protects property across group companies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the principal safety and security is maintained at all times
• Escort the principal to various locations
• Travel with the principal when required from time to time
• Always be vigilant and alert
• Actively communicate on staff WhatsApp groups and Citizens brand radios
• Vehicle incident reporting
• Daily pre-inspection of vehicles
• Adhere to timekeeping (reporting for duty on time)
• Report on high-speed OB entries
• Adhere to road traffic regulations
• Daily vehicle odometer readings and reason of trip
• Report any vehicle maintenance due
• Ensuring approved standard operating procedures (SOP) are followed and adhered at all times
• Ensure the principal safety and security is always maintained
• Protect and safeguard the principals property, (car, house, personal items, etc)

Job description

In your role as a Tactical Driver, your duties and responsibilities are recorded as follows:

• Ensure the principal safety and security is maintained at all times
• Escort the principal to various locations
• Travel with the principal when required from time to time
• Always be vigilant and alert
• Actively communicate on staff WhatsApp groups and Citizens brand (CB) radios
• Vehicle incident reporting
• Daily pre-inspection of vehicles
• Adhere to timekeeping (reporting for duty on time)
• Report on high-speed OB entries
• Adhere to road traffic regulations
• Daily vehicle odometer readings and reason of trip
• Report any vehicle maintenance due

The above duties will be performed by the Employee for the Company, and as directed by the company for all relevant companies within the Group and may be amended and updated by Management from time to time
