FCM Meetings & Events in Johannesburg is seeking a Systems Support Specialist to power our technology platforms across global operations. You will serve as the go-to expert for M&E platforms, configure and maintain system settings, and drive continuous improvement through technology.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to support users across locations, including occasional out-of-hours escalations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in systems or technical support.
• Knowledge of Cvent/EventsAir/Qondor advantageous.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem reporting.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration of M&E business systems, including user access and availability.
• Configure and maintain system settings, permissions, templates, and workflows across platforms.
• Conduct quarterly access audits to ensure permissions are accurate and compliant.
• Coordinate technical support with vendors and internal teams.
• Act as SME for platforms including Qondor, Cvent, EventsAir, and related reporting tools.
• Support system projects from requirements gathering through implementation and post-deployment optimization.
• Partner with Finance Systems, Salesforce, and other teams to support integrations.
• Provide technical support and issue resolution for users.
• Manage escalations with third-party suppliers and oversee resolution.
• Deliver system onboarding, training, and documentation.
• Maintain system documentation and SOPs.
• Generate reports on usage, compliance, and adoption.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices.
