The purpose of this position is to provide the business knowledge and technical skills to implement technicalstrategies, evaluate products and provide a superior level of technical support that benefit the company and theclient.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Provide the business knowledge and technical skills to implement technicalstrategies, evaluate products and provide a superior level of technical supportthat benefits the company
• Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to show the functional andtechnical capabilities of the relevant product to meet the customers needs
• Must be able to a build a BOM (Bill of Material)
• Provide technical support on the product and understand technical valueproposition
• Assist with project plans and network diagrams
• Provide post-sales technical support to resellers and end users
• Deliver presentations on products on a technical level
• Willingness to learn and adept to new products introduced

Qualifications and experience:

• Grade 12/Matric Certificate
• IT Degree / Diploma
• Network Certs (e.g., CCNA) beneficial
• Must have at least 3 5 years of experience in Networking and or Cyber Security
• Understand WAN/LAN and transport technologies
• Experience in troubleshooting and configuring networks
• Must be conversant in positioning a product into complex datacentre networks
• Understanding of cyber security principles
