Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a Senior Network & Systems Administrator to manage and optimise our hybrid network and server infrastructure across multiple business operations.

You will ensure maximum uptime, secure remote access, and expert-level support while guiding junior IT team members and collaborating with vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' IT Administration and Networks experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and routing protocols.
• Experience with hybrid on-premise and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, Wi‑Fi, and internet connectivity.
• Monitor network performance and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Configure routers, switches, wireless gear, access points, and firewalls.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Support hybrid connectivity between on‑prem and cloud services.

As the Senior Network & Systems Administrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, security, optimisation, and performance of network and server infrastructure across multiple business operations. The role focuses on ensuring maximum uptime, maintaining secure hybrid environments, and providing expert-level support for complex technical issues.
