Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Business Support Specialist for a 6-month contract to drive ESH/ESG processes and sustainability initiatives. The role requires collaboration with regional stakeholders and governance bodies to optimize global and local processes.

The successful candidate will analyse requirements, assist in BRD and user documentation, and manage incidents and changes related to sustainability systems and interfaces, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across regions.

Qualifications

• Relevant Technical/IT Degree or Diploma.
• At least 5 years experience in ESH and ESG processes or similar role.
• In-depth understanding of the Sustainability landscape.
• Experience in change management, system integration and solution design; global experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations to understand operational technologies for sustainability and capital projects.
• Engage with the manager, Business Process Custodian (BPC), and Regional Process Owners (RPOs) on continuous business improvement opportunities.
• Focus on continuous improvement rather than day-to-day incidents.
• Analyse business requirements and document them in a BRD.
• Assist in the preparation of Business Process Procedures, Documents, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation, and User manuals.
• Manage Incidents/Requests/Changes/Problems and Config requirements.
• Identify gaps in current global/local processes and drive optimization.
• Participate in regional governance structures.
• Review QA activities for the functional area (regression testing, change requests, bug fixes).
• Work with the Business Lead to manage requirements from third-party non-SAP suppliers (interfaces).
• Coordinate with Global Access and GRC for process optimization, regional fit and compliance.
