Job summary

Adcorp Group in South Africa seeks a Supply Chain Supervisor to join our operations team in a cold storage environment, coordinating and overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities.

As a supervisor, you will lead a team of about 10, monitor KPIs, ensure SOPs and safety standards, and collaborate with the Shift Manager to drive efficient, compliant operations on the floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a Logistics / Distribution / Warehouse environment.
• Experience supervising or leading employees within an operational environment is advantageous.
• Experience working in a cold storage environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the department to ensure operational efficiency and productivity.
• Manage and support a team of approximately 10 employees, including attendance, PPE compliance and training requirements.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and ensure targets and SOPs are achieved.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, Health & Safety requirements, housekeeping standards and departmental processes.
• Manage departmental overtime and ensure operational requirements are effectively planned.
• Provide regular feedback to the Shift Manager on staffing, training, KPIs, operational challenges and performance.
• Participate in daily planning meetings and address queries promptly.
• Support continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve workflow and operational performance.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Supervisor to join our operations team within a cold storage environment, where you will play an important role in ensuring efficient, accurate and compliant day-to-day warehouse operations.

As our Supply Chain Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing departmental activities to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy and compliance with established processes and SOPs.

You will lead a team, monitor departmental performance, ensure KPIs are achieved and support a safe, productive and well-organized working environment.

This is an opportunity to lead from the floor, solve operational challenges and drive consistent performance while working closely with the Shift Manager and wider operations team.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

Experience

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a Logistics / Distribution / Warehouse environment, with strong experience in picking
• Experience supervising or leading employees within an operational environment will be advantageous.
• Experience working in a cold storage environment will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric
