Job summary

OttoBauthentic is seeking a Supply Chain Process Engineer to analyse and redesign distribution centre processes, focusing on manual environments and future systems implementation. You will partner with Operations, Finance, HR, and IT to deliver practical, scalable improvements across warehousing, inventory, and logistics.

The role requires a degree in Industrial Engineering and 3–5 years in related operations, with strong data analytics and advanced Excel skills. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Industrial Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in supply chain, warehousing, logistics or distribution operations.
• Experience with process mapping, SOP development, and improvement projects.
• Exposure to WMS/ERP systems is advantageous.
• Experience in FMCG, warehousing, or distribution environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse current workflows, SOPs, and distribution processes to identify inefficiencies.
• Conduct time studies, process mapping, and labour utilisation assessments.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Review warehouse layouts and inventory handling processes for optimisation.
• Develop performance tracking tools and dashboards using Excel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardise procedures.
• Support future technology implementations (WMS, TMS, ERP).
