Job summary

OutsideCapital is seeking an Industrial Engineer to work closely with operations across distribution centres, transport, shipping and stores. You will diagnose problems, understand root cause, build the case for change, and lead practical improvements through to implementation.

The role requires mapping processes, improving systems and facility flows, supporting users, analysing data, and helping build Supply Chain capacity for growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Approximately 5–8 years’ post-qualification Industrial Engineering experience, preferably in warehouse, distribution-centre, or Supply Chain environments.
• Demonstrated ability diagnosing operational problems and executing action plans.
• Experience mapping and improving Supply Chain processes, systems, layouts, or facility flows.
• Experience developing business cases and leading projects or improvement initiatives.
• Strong data analysis and advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability.
• Ability to work with limited ramp-up and take ownership in a fast-moving operational environment.
• Willingness to travel and interact with multiple departments.
