Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Supply Chain Industrial Engineer to optimize logistics and distribution networks. This fully remote role involves analyzing material flow, inventory, warehouses and transportation to cut costs and improve service levels.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and 5+ years in industrial engineering or supply chain optimization, with strong data analytics and WMS/TMS proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or supply chain optimization.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and operations management.
Proficiency in supply chain modeling software, data analysis tools, and WMS/TMS systems.

Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize supply chain processes, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and network design.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce lead times, minimize inventory costs, and improve order fulfillment accuracy.
Utilize data analytics and simulation tools to model supply chain scenarios and evaluate the impact of proposed changes.
Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, operations, logistics) and external partners to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Design and improve warehouse layouts, material handling systems, and operational workflows to enhance efficiency and safety.
Develop and monitor KPIs for supply chain performance and provide regular reports to management.
