Job summary

Pedros is seeking an Industrial Engineer to improve and redesign processes across distribution centre operations, focusing on efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness. The role involves time studies, process mapping, and data-driven initiatives to optimise warehousing, inventory handling, and logistics.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support future technology implementations (WMS, ERP) within a predominantly manual environment. Travel to multiple sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or National Diploma required.
• 3-5 years in supply chain, warehousing, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Experience in process improvement and workflow optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, pivot tables, reporting and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current workflows, SOPs, and distribution processes to identify inefficiencies.
• Conduct time studies, process mapping, and labour utilization assessments.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce cost.
• Identify bottlenecks and non-value-adding activities; optimize warehouse layout and flows.
• Produce operational dashboards and reporting; support future WMS/ERP implementations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, HR, Procurement, and IT; ensure compliance and best practices.
• Travel to distribution centres as required.
