Job summary

Network Finance is recruiting for a senior Supply Chain professional in Gauteng to lead end-to-end optimisation across procurement, warehousing, inventory and logistics. You will develop strategic sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier terms and drive cost efficiencies across a multinational manufacturing environment.

The role requires 5–6 years in Supply Chain with 2–3 years of management experience, strong contractual skills and exposure to SAP/SYSPRO/SAGE and preferably Microsoft Dynamics.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in a relevant field
• CIPS qualification advantageous
• 5–6 years' Supply Chain experience
• 2–3 years' management experience
• Heavy Industrial or Manufacturing background (Steel, Chemical, etc.)
• Experience across Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Warehousing and Logistics
• Strong contract negotiation capability
• Exposure to SAP, SYSPRO or SAGE; Dynamics advantageous
• Governance, compliance and quality-driven operating environment

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain optimisation across Procurement, Warehousing, Inventory and Logistics.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement strategies, including supplier negotiations and cost optimisation.
• Drive warehouse and inventory optimisation, including WMS processes, stock controls and working-capital efficiency.
• Manage strategic supplier and supply chain contracts, negotiating favourable terms while ensuring service and continuity.
• Identify inefficiencies across the supply chain and implement sustainable process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage multimodal logistics across Road, Rail and Sea Freight, including SADC regional movements, imports and exports.
• Apply knowledge of INCOTERMS, FCL/LCL shipments and international freight requirements.
• Strengthen supplier performance, service levels and overall supply-chain resilience.
• Ensure strong corporate governance and compliance including B-BBBEE, ISO standards and quality controls.
• Lead and develop supply chain teams while partnering with operational, commercial and senior management stakeholders.

What You'll Need

• Relevant Degree or Diploma
• CIPS qualification advantageous
• Minimum 5–6 years' Supply Chain experience
• At least 2–3 years' management experience
• Strong background within Heavy Industrial or Manufacturing environments, ideally Steel, Chemical or similarly complex operations
• Demonstrated experience across Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Warehousing and Logistics
• Strong commercial and contract negotiation capability
• Practical exposure to SADC regional logistics, imports/exports and multimodal freight
• Working knowledge of SAP, SYSPRO or SAGE
• Microsoft Dynamics exposure would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance and quality-driven operating environments
