Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a results-driven procurement and inventory specialist in Gauteng to optimize stock accuracy, supplier performance, and logistics coordination across the business. You will operate in a fast-paced, process-driven environment and drive operational discipline within procurement and inventory functions.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in supply chain or logistics and 4–5 years' experience in procurement, inventory control, and logistics.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or inventory management.
  • 4–5 years in procurement, inventory control, or logistics.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or trading environments.
  • Strong understanding of procurement workflows and inventory principles.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate procurement activities and supplier communication.
  • Manage inventory control and stock accuracy across operations.
  • Oversee stock movement, replenishment planning, and optimization.
  • Handle foreign purchasing and import coordination.
  • Drive cycle counts and stock variance resolution.
  • Support logistics and warehouse coordination for continuity.
  • Monitor supplier performance and procurement execution.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and ERP data integrity.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee stock movement, replenishment planning, and inventory optimisation
  • Handle foreign purchasing and import-related coordination
  • Drive cycle counts, stock investigations, and stock variance resolution
  • Support logistics and warehouse coordination to ensure operational continuity
  • Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and procurement execution
  • Maintain accurate reporting, inventory records, and ERP system integrity
  • Collaborate with operational, finance, and commercial teams to support business performance
Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in:

  • 4–5 years’ experience within:
    • Procurement
    • Inventory Control
    • Logistics / Supply Chain
  • Exposure to:
    • Industrial

  • Experience managing high-value inventory environments
Technical Requirements
  • Strong ERP systems exposure:
    • Syspro (highly advantageous)
    • SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Advanced Excel capability
  • Strong reporting, inventory analysis, and operational systems understanding
