Job summary

A Pretoria West based leading engineering and energy-storage manufacturing company seeks a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the full supply chain for battery energy storage systems (BESS), including inverters, batteries and containerised solutions.

You will develop and execute supply chain strategies, manage procurement of electronic, electrical and mechanical components, and coordinate sourcing of container manufacture, cabling, HVAC and fire suppression.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related
• 5–10 years’ experience in supply chain or procurement within manufacturing or engineering
• Proven experience sourcing electronic, electrical, and mechanical components
• Strong ERP/MRP experience (ERPNext, Syspro, or similar)
• Experience in project‑based or engineered product environments

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with project delivery

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships (local & international)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with project delivery
