Placements24 seeks a meticulous Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist for our client in Centurion, Gauteng. You will oversee daily logistics, optimize the end-to-end supply chain, collaborate with suppliers, and ensure inventory accuracy to meet demand.

You will analyze data, drive cost reductions, and ensure regulatory compliance while working with 3PLs and internal teams in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• SACM: Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Operations or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in supply chain and logistics, preferably FMCG.
• Experience in inventory management, warehousing and transportation; strong analytical capability.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily logistics operations including warehousing, transportation and inventory.
• Develop strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement stock-control measures to prevent stockouts.

• Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of relevant South African regulations is an advantage.
