Job summary

The takealot.com Internship Programme in Cape Town offers hands-on experience in supply chain across inbound, inventory, outbound, and planning, with mentorship and real project exposure. Qualifications

• Must hold NCV/N6 in Warehousing, Operations, Supply Chain or Data Analytics.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with data interpretation skills.
• Good communication, time management, and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, review, and maintenance of SOPs and process documentation in different Warehouse functions.
• Contribute to day-to-day warehouse operations in INBOUND, INVENTORY, OUTBOUND, DISPATCH, PLANNING.
• Prepare clear reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to DC operations
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Facilities, and Health & Safety.
• Monitor operational performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in identifying improvement opportunities and corrective actions.
• Participate in problem-solving initiatives by identifying root causes, proposing practical solutions, and supporting implementation.
