You will lead design, installation, and operation efforts on challenging deepwater projects in the energy sector, requiring strong subsea technology understanding and project execution capabilities.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of subsea engineering experience offshore.
Proven design, installation, and commissioning of subsea production systems.
Experience with subsea hardware and installation vessels.

Responsibilities

Design and specify subsea equipment including trees, manifolds, umbilicals, and flowlines.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Subsea Engineer to join their offshore project team, based in proximity to Polokwane for administrative purposes but with significant offshore site responsibilities. This critical role involves the design, specification, installation, and operation of subsea production systems for oil and gas fields. You will work on challenging deepwater projects, ensuring the integrity and performance of subsea equipment from the seabed to the surface facilities. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of subsea technology, project management, and offshore operations, contributing to the successful execution of complex offshore developments in the energy sector .

Key Responsibilities
