You will contribute to design, analysis, and implementation of subsea production systems from a remote location, supporting global project teams to ensure safe and cost-efficient field developments.

The role emphasizes subsea hardware, installation methods, and integrity management with strong emphasis on remote collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Ocean, or Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of subsea engineering experience in offshore Oil & Gas.
• Proficiency in subsea system design and analysis software.
• Strong understanding of subsea hardware, installation methods, and integrity management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration for remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and specify subsea equipment including trees, manifolds, risers, and flowlines.
• Develop and review subsea engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Subsea Engineer to join their innovative team, contributing to critical projects within the Oil & Gas industry . This role is designed for an expert in subsea systems, offering the flexibility to work remotely while providing essential engineering support and design input. You will be involved in the design, analysis, and implementation of subsea production systems, working closely with project teams globally to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective field developments. This position is key to optimizing offshore operations and maintaining a high standard of engineering excellence from Bloemfontein (or any suitable remote location).

Key Responsibilities
