Job summary

FirstRand Bank India is seeking a Commercial Credit Specialist to evaluate financials, credibility, and business viability. You will structure deals, compile credit papers, and present outcomes to committees in collaboration with the lending advisory team for HNW/UHNW clients.

You should have a BCom Finance/Accounting, 1–3 years credit experience, strong financial statement analysis, and cash flow modeling. Based in Cape Town within FNB Private Credit.

Qualifications

• Strong financial statement analysis skills
• Experience with credit risk assessment
• Ability to model cash flows for debt service
• Understanding of lending products and covenants

Responsibilities

• Support and manage a portfolio of HNW & UHNW clients
• Attend client meetings with the lending specialist and advisory team
• Structure deals and compile the credit paper
• Present the credit outcome, covenants, structure and process to stakeholders
• Explain the credit decision to clients and the sales team
• Monitor ongoing risk and covenants across the client portfolio
