Job summary

RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading engineering consulting firm in Pretoria, seeks an experienced Structural Modeller to work on diverse commercial, industrial, mining and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include creating 3D models in Revit, detailing drawings with ProBar, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Office-based role with opportunities to impact design and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate in draughting or civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' structural drafting/modelling experience in a consulting env.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience using ProBar for reinforcement detailing.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks/BIM Collaborate.
• Ability to work independently with engineers and project teams.
• Exposure to commercial, industrial, mining, airport or bridge projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D structural models using Autodesk Revit.
• Produce reinforced concrete and structural steel construction drawings.
• Prepare reinforcement detailing drawings and bend schedules with ProBar.
• Coordinate structural models with other project disciplines.
• Update drawings and models with engineering revisions.
• Perform quality checks to ensure standards compliance.
• Provide drawing support through design and construction phases.
