Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• Minimum 5 years of professional Structural Engineer experience.
• Proficiency with SAP2000, ETABS, and Revit Structure.
• Working knowledge of SANS 10160 codes and construction methods.
• Registration with ECSA is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, including foundations and frames.
• Develop detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations with standard software.
• Ensure designs comply with SA building codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate designs.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Review shop drawings for design intent.
