Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and optimize extensive logistics and warehousing operations in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA. The role requires strategic thinking, deep WMS/ERP knowledge, and a proven track record in driving efficiency and cost savings.

You will manage a large team and coordinate with third-party providers, while implementing lean methodologies and safety standards to ensure world-class operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years progressive warehousing and logistics experience with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic operational plans to enhance warehouse efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Lead a diverse warehouse team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, stock levels, and shrinkage reduction.
