Placements24 is seeking a strategic Telecoms Network Planner for the Nelspruit area to forecast demand, plan capacity upgrades, and deploy new technologies. You will analyze performance data and identify bottlenecks to drive strategic improvements.

Ideal candidates will have strong analytical abilities, a forward-thinking mindset, and a solid understanding of network design and capacity management within telecommunications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in telecom network planning or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex network data.
• Solid understanding of telecommunications network technologies (fiber, wireless, IP).
• Experience with network planning tools and capacity management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current network utilization and forecast future demand for telecommunications services.
• Develop detailed network expansion and upgrade plans, including capacity planning for core and access networks.
• Evaluate new technologies and their impact on capacity and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure technically feasible and cost-efficient changes.
• Prepare reports and presentations on network capacity, performance, and planning requirements.
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning of the telecommunications network infrastructure.
