Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecom Network Planner to join our client’s team in Rustenburg, North West. You will lead long-term network planning, capacity analysis, and expansion initiatives across fiber, microwave, LTE/5G, and IP/MPLS networks.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations and project management to shape deployment roadmaps, conduct system-wide capacity assessments and produce planning reports for regulatory compliance and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in telecommunications network planning, design, or engineering.
• Proven capacity planning experience and familiarity with planning tools.
• Knowledge of Fiber, Microwave, LTE/5G, and IP/MPLS networks.
• Experience with GIS and network mapping.
• Strong analytical, communication and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain long-term strategic network plans and forecasts.
• Conduct capacity planning for transmission, access and core networks.
• Identify expansion opportunities and new technology deployments.
• Translate plans into actionable roadmaps with engineering teams.
• Perform site selection and deployment strategy development.
• Create and maintain network topology maps and planning reports.
• Analyze performance metrics to guide future planning decisions.
• Collaborate with finance and procurement on budget forecasts.
