Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business administration or procurement.
• 8-10 years' experience in strategic sourcing or similar leadership roles within mining, manufacturing, or heavy industries.
• Proven track record in establishing sourcing functions and optimizing supplier networks.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills with stakeholder engagement capability.
• Experience with ERP systems, sourcing analytics and cost optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the strategic sourcing agenda aligned with business objectives.
• Review and strengthen the supplier base to improve quality, delivery, cost, and continuity.
• Drive cost-saving and total cost of ownership improvements through negotiations and projects.
• Establish a fit-for-purpose sourcing structure with clear roles and accountability.
• Lead localization initiatives by identifying and developing local suppliers while minimizing risk.
• Build strong supplier partnerships and implement robust performance management processes.
• Identify and mitigate sourcing risks while ensuring responsible sourcing and governance.
