Job summary

Absa Bank Limited seeks an experienced Relationship Manager to optimise the profit and economic value of portfolios for Small Business key account clients with low to medium complexity commercial banking needs. You will own the client relationship and guide cross-functional teams to deliver tailored banking solutions.

You will take accountability for service delivery, manage risk and compliance, and leverage origination and cross-sell efforts to grow the client base within the segment CVP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce and Management Studies.
• Professional qualifications in Business, Commerce and Management Studies.

Responsibilities

• Own the primary relationship with the client by being the client's main contact point for all corporate and investment banking needs.
• Take overall accountability for service delivery by setting the rules of engagement for the cross functional team, which includes Transactional Banker, Credit Analyst, Segment Support Client Control Team, Client Service Consultant & Product & Sector teams.
• Take ownership of the portfolio's risk management by ensuring a good understanding of both the Bank's and the clients regulatory and compliance environments
