Job summary

Mr D, a division of the Takealot Group, is seeking a highly talented Sales Executive to join our team in Cape Town.

You will identify and prioritise high potential partners for the Mr D platform, build a robust CRM pipeline, and drive end-to-end partner activation to go-live with first orders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced Certificate; tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years sales experience ( marketplace/ecommerce, SaaS, or retail)
• Proficiency with CRM tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise high potential partners for the Mr D platform.
• Build and maintain a robust, well qualified sales pipeline in CRM.
• Lead the end-to-end partner sign up process (pitching, negotiation, contracting).
• Achieve partner activation targets, ensuring partners go live successfully and on time.
• Educate new partners on available advertising tools and secure initial uptake.
• Source launch promotions from new partners that align with business objectives.
• Maintain strict partner visit/meeting standards for coverage and velocity.
• Collaborate with onboarding/ops to ensure smooth go-live and first orders.
• Document and execute a structured handover to the Account Manager post activation.
