Job summary

Mr D, a division of the Takealot Group, is seeking a Sales Associate to support restaurant partners in the Eastern Cape. You will help identify and prioritise partners, build a sales pipeline, and assist with onboarding onto the Mr D platform.

The role reports to the Sales Lead and requires a customer-focused, results-driven mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Minimum 1 year Prior sales or account management experience
• Knowledge of the local restaurant industry
• Own transport and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise suitable restaurant partners for the Mr D platform
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Assist with restaurant sign-up and onboarding
• Serve as lead contact for restaurant partners in assigned areas
• Strengthen relationships with restaurant partners and monitor performance
• Provide timely feedback and solutions to partners
• Assist with device-related queries from partners
• Support delivery of marketing material to restaurants
• Train restaurant staff on Mr D devices
• Maintain strict restaurant visit standards

Mr D , a division of the Takealot Group, is looking for a highly talented Sales Associate to join our team in the Eastern Cape.

This position reports to the Sales Lead of Mr D.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in identifying and prioritising suitable Restaurant Partners for the Mr D platform
• Assist in creating as well as maintaining a robust sales pipeline
• Assist the Sales Area Leads with the restaurants sign-up process
• Operate as the lead point of contact for restaurant partners in the assigned areas while reporting in to the Sales Area Leads
• Work with Sales Area Leads to strengthen relationships with restaurant partners and monitor their business and store performance
• Ensure timeous and effective solutions and feedback to restaurant partners
• Assist with all device-related queries from restaurant partners
• Assist with delivery of marketing material to various restaurants when required
• Train restaurant staff on use of the Mr D restaurant device
• Ensure strict restaurant visit standards are maintained
