Job summary

Objective Personnel is seeking a Procurement Manager responsible for sourcing, purchasing and supplier performance to support manufacturing output. The role requires evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective procurement in line with budgets.

The successful candidate will manage RFQs/RFPs, maintain supplier accreditation and collaborate with engineering and production to meet production plans. Valid driver’s license and 5+ years in procurement are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric / Senior Certificate.
• Diploma in Procurement or relevant certificates.
• Minimum 5 years' procurement experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchases and costs per budgets and procedures.
• Develop supplier relationships and resolve supplier issues.
• Negotiate costs and ensure quality of procured goods.
• Maintain Approved Suppliers List (ASL) and supplier certifications, delivery times.
• Coordinate with heads of department to align with production plan.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs for local and international supply.
• Oversee import/export logistics and SARS compliance.
