Job summary

PwC South Africa is seeking a Senior Associate in the Procurement Excellence team. You will own delivery on projects, perform spend analyses, design procurement operating models, and help identify cost reductions for clients.

You will build strong client relationships and contribute to business development while collaborating with PwC teams to deliver integrated procurement solutions. Minimum 2–4 years in Management Consulting, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management is expected, with strong MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
• Enrolled for or have completed a Procurement qualification such as CIPS would be advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Experience with digital procurement systems and tools.
• Knowledge of data analytics, SQL, VBA, or other programming languages.
• Knowledge of the use of AI tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
• Conduct spend analytics and operating model assessments, and support client solutions development.
• Build strong client relationships and support senior team members in advising on procurement matters.
• Support business development activities, including proposal development and client pitches.
• Contribute to practice development by identifying new opportunities and expanding client relationships.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
• Collaborate with PwC teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
