Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Analyst to join its strategic procurement team in a hybrid role based in Sandton. You will drive data-driven decision-making across procurement activities, analyze spending, identify savings, manage supplier metrics, and contribute to category strategies for Gauteng and national operations.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement analytics, strong Excel and data visualization skills, and prior ERP experience (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or Business Analytics).
• Minimum 5 years in procurement analytics, strategic sourcing, or related analytical roles.
• Proven ability to conduct complex spend analysis and deliver cost savings.
• Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed spend analysis to identify cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for procurement activities and supplier performance.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk factors to inform sourcing strategies.
• Support development and execution of category management plans.
• Prepare reports and presentations on procurement performance and savings initiatives.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to support negotiations and sourcing events.
• Develop tools and dashboards for tracking procurement metrics.
• Identify and implement process improvements within procurement.
