Job summary

DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, invites applications for a Logistics Coordinator role in Cape Town. You will manage transporter data, consolidate information, and ensure customer service levels are met across inbound, outbound and cross-border movements.

The position requires strong stakeholder collaboration with clients, transporters and internal teams, proactive issue resolution, adherence to SLAs and KPI targets, and accurate documentation for exports and imports.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent.
• Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Transport Management (Advantageous).
• Intermediate to proficient in Excel/PowerPoint for data management and reporting.
• 2-5 years relevant experience in transport/logistics and customer service within a warehouse/transport environment.

Responsibilities

• Transporter management: coordinating/consolidating transporter information in a presentable format.
• Understand client business and client requirements; build strong relationships with clients and transporters.
• Manage contract SLAs and KPIs; proactively identify and address deliverables.
• Maintain reports aligned with KPI and contractual obligations; ensure data integrity between systems.
• Daily system checks and communication with stakeholders; manage client queries and escalation within KPI.
• Support in creating and maintaining processes, SOPs and change management training.
• Focus on compliance with documentation, export/import controls and cross-border requirements.
