Job summary

A leading renewable energy and energy storage solutions company is seeking a commercially driven Key Account Manager to grow utility-scale BESS, Solar PV and hybrid projects across Southern and East Africa.

In this role you will identify new market opportunities, build strategic relationships with IPPs, EPCs, developers and utilities, and drive sales growth while coordinating with engineering teams to deliver optimal energy solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales within solar, BESS or broader renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of energy storage technologies and utility-scale projects.
• Experience engaging with commercial and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new opportunities across Southern and East Africa.
• Develop relationships with developers, EPCs, utilities and IPPs.
• Lead project sales activities from opportunity to contract award.
• Support tender submissions and commercial negotiations.
• Engage industry stakeholders at events and workshops.
