Placements24 in Upington, Northern Cape, is seeking an HR Business Partner to act as a strategic link between HR and business units. You will advise on HR matters, drive engagement, and implement HR programs in alignment with operational goals.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience, strong communication, and thorough knowledge of South African labour law. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Upington.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience as HRBP or senior HR generalist.
• Strong knowledge of SA employment law and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for designated business units and align HR needs with strategy.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, practices and legal compliance.
• Partner with leadership on talent management, planning, recruitment, and succession.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate on performance management systems and employee engagement.
• Advise on compensation and benefits strategies for competitiveness.
