Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to manage and support key public sector projects in the Northern Cape, including Upington. The role requires strategic thinking, robust HR knowledge, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

You will align HR strategies with project goals, advise on workforce planning, talent development, and change management, and ensure regulatory compliance. Travel within the Northern Cape and hybrid work flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Public Administration, Business Management, or related field.
• Master's degree is advantageous.
• Minimum 7 years of HR experience with public sector or project-based roles.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project managers and stakeholders to define and implement HR strategies for public sector projects.
• Provide advice on workforce planning, recruitment, talent development, and performance management.
• Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth project adoption.
• Facilitate employee relations and ensure compliance with labor laws and public sector policies.
• Develop and deliver HR training and workshops as needed.
• Manage HR data and reporting for project requirements.
• Identify and mitigate HR-related risks within project scopes.
• Foster relationships with project teams, government officials, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to HR best practices for public sector engagements.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies across Northern Cape project sites.
