Job summary

Talent Network Global Cape Town seeks an experienced HR Generalist Executive to lead the full HR function in a manufacturing environment, balancing strategic governance with shop-floor realities.

You will drive workforce planning, recruitment, performance, development and succession; manage employee relations, labour legislation and CCMA readiness; oversee payroll governance, remuneration and HR compliance; and use HR data to improve labour cost control and overall business performance.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years’ generalist HR experience, in manufacturing environment, with sound knowledge of South African labour legislation, strong employee relations capability and practical payroll governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full HR generalist function, from workforce planning and recruitment to performance, development and succession.
• Managing employee relations, labour legislation, union matters and CCMA readiness.
• Overseeing payroll governance, remuneration and HR compliance.
• Strengthening workforce discipline, accountability and management capability.
• Using HR data to identify trends, manage labour costs and drive better decisions.
• Managing audits that meet customer audit requirements and drive world-class manufacturing processes.
