Edgexec (Pty) Ltd in Durban (Hammarsdale) seeks a strategic Group HR Manager to lead our HR function, shaping people strategy and ensuring compliance across a manufacturing operation. You will partner with executive leadership to drive performance and growth.

The role focuses on recruitment, development, Employment Equity, B-BBEE and HR governance within a unionised environment, with emphasis on strong employee relations and CCMA readiness.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in HR management or related field
• 3–5 years HR management experience in manufacturing
• Strong industrial relations and CCMA experience
• Extensive knowledge of South African labour legislation
• Experience with Employment Equity and B-BBEE

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Group HR strategy aligned with business objectives
• Lead recruitment, talent acquisition, succession planning, and retention initiatives
• Manage learning, leadership development, and compliance with SETA requirements
• Coordinate performance management and employee development plans
• Drive Employment Equity, transformation, and B-BBEE initiatives
• Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures and governance frameworks
• Ensure HR and payroll compliance with legislation and reporting requirements
