Job summary

Export Credit Insurance Corporation of SA SOC Ltd invites applications for a Head of Finance to oversee the daily management of the Finance department, ensuring accurate reporting and IFRS compliance for ECIC.

The role requires oversight of the preparation of financial statements, supervision of the reporting accountant, and coordination with auditors. You will manage internal and external stakeholder relations and ensure timely financial reporting to Board and authorities.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with strong technical expertise.
• At least 5 years post-article finance experience in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong IT skills in advanced Excel and accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational controls for financial efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and Board/Management instructions.
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and ECIC policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage stakeholder relationships.
