Job summary

Edgexec (Pty) Ltd in Johannesburg is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a high-impact finance function within a developmental finance environment. You will oversee day-to-day financial management, ensure accurate reporting and strong governance, and develop the finance team.

Reporting to the CFO, you will drive budgeting and statutory reporting to support decision-making. The role requires an accounting qualification (BCom with Honours), at least 8 years' experience, and strong IFRS/GRAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Honours degree in Finance/Accounting preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressive financial management experience.
• CA(SA) qualification advantageous.
• Experience with internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including payroll and invoicing.
• Lead the finance team and staff development.
• Coordinate external tax, audit, banking and investments.
• Prepare monthly management reports and annual financial statements.
• Ensure PFMA and National Treasury compliance.
