Job summary

Capitec Ltd. seeks an experienced Lead Insurance Reporting Specialist to own IFRS 17 reporting and regulatory submissions across the group. You will drive forecasting, budgeting and management reporting, delivering insights to Exco and Board committees.

The role requires a CA(SA) with strong IFRS 17 experience, enabling robust financial analysis, reporting excellence and strategic financial decision support within the insurance business.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) with IFRS 17 regulatory reporting experience
• Strong financial analysis and budgeting/forecasting skills
• Ability to engage, influence and present to senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance accounting and reporting activities with robust controls.
• Prepare technical accounting papers for senior stakeholders and auditors.
• Drive automation and improvements of insurance reporting processes.
