The role blends strategic finance, commercial analysis and operational oversight, partnering with senior leadership to support investments and growth.

You will translate financial and operational data into actionable insights, lead budgeting and forecasting, develop executive reporting, and collaborate with operations to boost profitability

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
• Professional finance qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA or similar.
• Extensive experience in commercial finance, financial planning, business analysis or asset-intensive industries.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and strategic planning.
• Previous experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong commercial acumen with advanced analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder management abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial financial analysis to support business performance and strategic decision-making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, financial models and management reports.
• Evaluate business cases, capital investment opportunities and return-on-investment initiatives.
• Support long-term strategic planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Develop executive-level reporting and performance dashboards.
• Partner with operational teams to improve profitability and financial performance.
