Job summary

DO MORE Placements in South Africa seeks a Finance Manager (Wholesale & Import) to lead the finance function in a growing business. Based in Muizenberg, Southern Suburbs, CPT, you will manage the finance team, drive month-end processes and deliver robust financial reporting. You should combine hands-on leadership with strong technical accounting, inventory costing, import and landed cost analysis, and commercial insight to support strategic decisions. SAICA/SAIPA/CIMA articles advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing and developing a finance team.
• Strong technical accounting ability to review management accounts and reports.
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting, costing and ERP systems.
• BCom Accounting or equivalent; SAICA/SAIPA/CIMA articles advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team to drive accuracy and improvements.
• Review monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Provide commercial insight through inventory costing, landed cost analysis and gross margin reporting.
• Strengthen controls, ensure statutory compliance and oversee external audits.
• Partner with executive management with meaningful financial analysis and recommendations.
