DO MORE Placements in Stellenbosch, South Africa seeks a CA(SA) or CIMA (CGMA) to lead group finance for a trading-focused organisation. The role reports to the CFO and engages with the EXCO and Board.

You will drive strategic financial management, profitability analysis, risk, funding and treasury, while leading the finance team and digitalising finance processes to optimise performance.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) or CIMA CGMA with extensive financial leadership experience.
• Proven ability to analyse trading profitability, margins and performance.
• Strong Excel, financial modelling and ERP/trading systems exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership for the group and oversee reporting and financial control.
• Analyse trading profitability, margins and performance to support decision-making.
• Manage treasury, funding and trade finance, including risk management.
• Oversee inventory exposure, valuations and hedging activities.
• Lead working capital management, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Present EXCO/Board-level financial insights and lead the finance team.
