Placements24 seeks a Senior Financial Controller & Treasury Manager in Vereeniging. The role oversees accounting, budgeting, reporting under IFRS/GAAP, and all treasury operations.

You will lead a finance team, drive strategic insights, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic industrial group. Ideal candidate has extensive financial management experience, strong risk management skills, and proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is essential.
• Extensive experience in financial accounting, corporate finance, risk management, and treasury.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting: AP, AR, GL, payroll.
• Develop annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Prepare IFRS/GAAP-compliant financial statements monthly/quarterly/annually.
• Manage treasury: cash, liquidity, FX.
• Implement financial policies and internal controls.
• Analyze performance, identify trends, provide insights to senior management.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Ensure tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Lead and mentor the finance team.
• Assess and mitigate financial risks.
