Job summary

Old Mutual Insure Limited is seeking an Executive Associate to support the CEO and Exco on strategic projects and daily deliverables. The role runs for an 18–24 month development period, offering exposure to high-level decision-making and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders inside and outside the business.

Based in Johannesburg, the role focuses on research, reporting and event coordination, with progression opportunities within the Old Mutual Limited group subject to performance.

Qualifications

• Honours or equivalent postgraduate degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in a listed company or multinational corporate environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage highly confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual business planning and delivery cycles for the CEO and support Exco.
• Prepare presentations, minutes and reports for the CEO and Exco.
• Manage key OMI events with action planning and forward planning.
• Synthesize information and draft points of view and solutions for decision-making.
• Represent the CEO on ad hoc projects, meetings and events as required.
