Job summary

Old Mutual South Africa is seeking an Executive Associate to support the Office of the CEO on strategic projects and day-to-day deliverables. The role involves close collaboration with the CEO, the OMI Exco and other stakeholders, investigating business issues and developments.

This 18-24 month development opportunity offers exposure to high-level decision making, with potential to move into a role within Old Mutual Limited group upon strong performance.

Qualifications

• Honours or equivalent post graduate degree.
• Minimum 5 years work experience, preferably in a listed company or multinational corporate environment.
• Experience working with senior level clients.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Excellent command of English, including drafting.
• Strong communication, presentation, numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the CEO on key strategic projects and day-to-day deliverables.
• Perform administrative duties for the CEO, including presentations and minutes.
• Manage key OMI events and ensure action planning and forward planning.
• Coordinate resources to gather information and draft reports.
• Prepare points of view and solutions for the CEO to aid decision-making.
• Represent the CEO on ad hoc projects, meetings and events as required.
• Ensure documentation for meetings and Exco agendas.
